The Spectrum Financial Group is an independently owned financial services specialist. Our investors
include Fred Done, the founder and chairman of the world’s biggest independent bookmaker, Betfred.
Benefiting from our unique in-house technology, we specialise in managed banking facilities
together with prepaid card launches that do NOT offer any form of credit.
Via our association with RED88, we also provide a comprehensive suite of financial services to
both the UK and European Chinese markets.
The Group is proud to be supported by some of the UK's premier financial institutions,
including NatWest, Newcastle Building Society and MasterCard®.
Founded in 2007, The Spectrum Financial Group Limited is parent company to: Spectrum Card Services,
Spectrum Payment Services and RED88.
The Spectrum Financial Group has two product brands: RED88, (specifically for the Chinese community)
and cardonebanking, specifically for personal banking. Spectrum also operates a number of
affinity brands including Extra Direct, 1st Stop and Creditflex.
Spectrum Card Services
Spectrum Card Services creates bespoke banking and prepaid card programmes, using other people’s
brands (affinities). The in-house banking platform was designed specifically for both the ‘direct
to market’ and ‘introducer’ channels. This means that an introducer or affinity partner can
seamlessly integrate with our systems to offer its customers a banking product at point of
sale. Just as easily, customers can apply direct online.
With this in mind, we can also provide the necessary systems technology to enable employers,
who prefer to have all wages paid to one place, to pay their employees via prepay cards,
rather than issue cheques or cash.

The Spectrum Financial Group has always recognised the significance of branding. That’s why
we have our very own team of highly specialised creative design and marketing professionals,
hugely experienced in bringing new products to market – with an affinity’s name on.
Our offices enjoy a scenic location in the depths of the Cheshire countryside,
just minutes away from the majestic Roman city of Chester.
